We are happy to inform you that the EIT’s HEI Initiative Pilot Call results have now been published.

In total, we received 64 applications from nearly 750 partners, including 319 higher education institutions and 429 non-academic organisations. We would like to thank everyone who submitted their proposals for unlocking the potential of higher education in Europe.

After careful evaluation by a panel of independent experts, 23 applications have been selected, which will receive total funding of up to €27.5 million from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. The funding will be distributed in two phases – Phase 1 (July−December 2021) and Phase 2 (January 2022−July 2023, upon successful completion of Phase 1).
